SPLA targets Moroccan army positions in Farsia and Guelta sectors

Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), 22 December 2025 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan army fortifications in the Farsia and Guelta sectors sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment.

A military communiqué issued today by the Ministry of National Defense stated that advanced units of the Sahrawi army carried out a concentrated bombardment on Monday morning, targeting Moroccan army bases and fortifications in the areas of Al-Fayiyin and Grarat Shadida in the Farsia sector.

The statement added that, later in the day, Sahrawi combat units also targeted a support and supply base belonging to the Moroccan army in the Ashrak Tawarta area of the Guelta sector.
