Algiers, 1 September 2025 (SPS) - A new book titled "The Kingdom of Morocco as a Model of a Terrorist State... A Long History of Comprehensive Terrorism in Western Sahara and the World" by Sahrawi writer Sayed Hamdi Yahdhih has been released. The book documents Morocco's crimes in Western Sahara, highlighting its long history of sponsoring organized terrorism and exporting it abroad.
During a symposium overseen by the Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic, Khatri Adouh, on Monday in Algiers, the book was presented. It addresses the topic of the Moroccan state's sponsorship of terrorism and its adoption as a doctrine for the survival of its regime. The book contains an arsenal of international laws and recommendations and applies them to Morocco's practices in Western Sahara, documenting that the Kingdom practices a full-fledged state terrorism against the Sahrawi people.
The author drew parallels between the horrific terrorist crimes committed by the Moroccan occupation against the Sahrawi people and the crimes of the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine. He also emphasized that Morocco's terrorism against the Sahrawi people has extended abroad, noting that "the largest demonstrative terrorist operations that occurred in Europe, especially in Spain and France, were carried out by Moroccans and were executed to impose political agendas."
In addition to carrying out terrorist operations in Europe specifically - Sayed Hamdi Yahdhih adds - "Morocco established terrorist groups affiliated with it in the Levant (Al-Sham) and the Sahel region and used them as an armed force to protect drug trafficking, spread chaos, and execute political agendas."
According to the author, Morocco has not relied solely on traditional terrorism to target countries but has resorted to other types of terrorism, such as cyber or technological terrorism. Through this, it has spied on many countries and figures in Europe and Africa, enlisting the help of rogue and outlaw states and entities like the Zionist entity.
For his part, the Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to Algeria, Khatri Adouh, highlighted the importance of this book, which sheds light on the serious human rights violations in occupied Western Sahara, especially under the intensified blockade imposed by the occupation on the territory. He cited the prevention of many international observers, including parliamentarians, from visiting the occupied cities.
The Sahrawi diplomat criticized the shameful positions of some bodies regarding the human rights situation in Western Sahara, noting what he described as the "deliberate absence" of the International Committee of the Red Cross and some countries that have "abandoned their responsibility" in this regard.
