Gaborone (Botswana), 11 September 2026 (SPS) — The Sahrawi Embassy in Botswana received condolences following the passing of diplomat and accredited Ambassador to Gaborone and the Southern African Development Community (SADC), El-Hiba Abbas, who died while serving as Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to Botswana and SADC countries.

The condolence book will remain open on Thursday and Friday at the embassy premises.
