SPLA targeted Moroccan occupation soldiers in Hauza and Mahbes sectors

Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), 12 May 2024 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted a base of Moroccan occupation soldiers in the Hauza and Mahbes sectors, causing significant losses in lives and equipment within the ranks of the occupying army, according to a military statement from the Central Directorate of the Political Commissariat of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army.

According to the military statement, advanced units of the Sahrawi army carried out an attack yesterday evening, targeting the occupation bases in the areas of Faderet Tamat and north of Harishet Dirt in the Hauza sector.

Moreover, on Sunday morning, Moroccan army positions were targeted in the areas of Amatir Lemkhinza and Oudi Damran in the Mahbes sector.

The statement also added that "in the face of the failure of the hostile Moroccan defense system, with its equipment and technology, to repel the attacks (...), the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army continues its heroic military operations on a daily basis, determining their appropriate locations and timing."
