Boumerdes, August 11, 2026 (SPS) – President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, condemned the European Union’s dealings with the Moroccan occupation state in the plundering of the Sahrawi people’s resources.
In his speech delivered while presiding over the opening of the Summer University for Sahrawi executives, President Brahim Ghali expressed his astonishment at the European Union’s dealings with the Moroccan occupation state, marked by a shameful disregard for violations of international legitimacy and the decisions of European justice itself, as well as by the signing of agreements to plunder the resources of a people living under occupation, at a time when Morocco, according to the figures, represents a constant and serious threat to Europe’s security.
The matter, the President added, is not limited to pressure and blackmail through irregular migration, in which Morocco sacrifices its own citizens and throws them into peril without mercy, as occurred at the European border in the city of Ceuta. It also extends to the record of terrorist operations in Europe, the majority of which, he noted, were planned and carried out by Moroccan nationals.
