Shaheed El Hafed, January 29, 2026 (SPS) – The Sahrawi Scouts and Childhood Organization held its 8th ordinary conference in the presence of the Prime Minister, member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Bouchraya Hamoudi Bayoun, along with members of the National Secretariat, the government, the authorities of Boujdour Wilaya, and executives of the Sahrawi scouting movement.
The Chief Scout of the Sahrawi Scouts and Childhood Organization, Jamal Ibrahim, delivered the opening address, stressing that the conference represents an opportunity to evaluate the organization’s progress between the 7th and 8th conferences. He noted that the primary goal is to work toward new horizons that serve the scouting movement and contribute to building a conscious and responsible generation.
In his official address at the event, the Prime Minister praised the role entrusted to the Sahrawi Scouts and Childhood Organization in guiding and protecting youth and children from various dangers and risks, describing it as a “true school of values.”
Mr. Bouchraya Hamoudi Bayoun emphasized the importance of proper training and supervision for members of the Sahrawi Scouts and Childhood Organization, including leaders and guides, in order to boost the pace of voluntary and educational work, thereby strengthening the power and standing of the Polisario Front.
The Prime Minister also called for the continuation and strengthening of programs and activities that reinforce unity and communication among the grassroots of the Sahrawi Scouts and Childhood Organization, in recognition of its pioneering role in guidance, upbringing, and nurturing of generations.
