SPLA targets Moroccan occupation army positions in Guelta sector

Bir Lahlou (Sahrawi Republic), 27 January 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan occupation army positions and fortifications in the Guelta sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and property.

A military communiqué issued today by the Ministry of National Defense stated that advanced units of our army carried out, on Tuesday morning a concentrated bombardment targeting enemy positions and fortifications in the area of Ashrak Laghrab in the Guelta sector.
