Auserd Wilaya, 30 November 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, praised the pivotal role of youth and their importance in the liberation struggle waged by the Sahrawi people.
In his speech during the closing session of the 11th Congress of the Youth Union of Saguia El-Hamra and Rio de Oro (UJSARIO), President Brahim Ghali said, “in fact, it is impossible to speak about the struggle of the Sahrawi people and the experience of the Polisario Front without addressing the youth, their role, and their status since the earliest days of the revolution. The revolution has always placed them at the forefront, where they must be. They are the spirit of the revolution—its dynamism, its strength, its burning flame—its past, present, and future, and the guarantee of its continuity and victory.”
The President of the Republic expressed the pride of the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi State in the examples set by youth through their presence on various fronts of the national struggle. In the past, the first generation consisted of loyal young patriots who did not hesitate for a moment to respond to the call of the homeland. They joined the Polisario Front in great numbers, as militants in all fields, and especially in the ranks of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army.
