Cotonou (Benin), August 7, 2026 (SPS) – A Sahrawi delegation representing civil society is participating in the activities of the 17th International Social Forum, held in the Beninese capital, Cotonou.
The delegation organized several workshops addressing various topics related to the national cause, including Sahrawi natural resources and their exploitation by the Moroccan occupation, the right to self-determination, decolonization, and human rights.
The delegation also took part in marches, organized demonstrations, and presented artistic and cultural performances aimed at raising awareness of the national cause.
It also held meetings with participating delegations to inform them about the history of the Sahrawi people and the latest developments concerning their just cause.
