President of Uruguay’s Broad Front reaffirms solidarity with Sahrawi people’s struggle

Montevideo (Uruguay), April 10, 2026 (SPS) – The President of Uruguay’s Broad Front has reaffirmed, in a message he sent, his solidarity with the just struggle of the Sahrawi people to obtain their legitimate rights to self-determination and to live in freedom and dignity.

He also extended his fraternal greetings to the Sahrawi people and the Polisario Front on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic, reiterating his readiness to continue strengthening the bonds of cooperation and solidarity between the two sides.
