Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), 25 March 2026 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, has received a message of congratulations from the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of 50th Anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic.
“I wish, on behalf of the Government and the people of Nigeria, to extend to Your Excellency and the people of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of your independence,” said Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Nigeria and Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic have shared a long history of friendship and cooperation, built on a foundation of mutual respect and common values. I am confident that the bonds of partnership between our two countries will continue to flourish and yield even greater benefits for our respective people in the years ahead,” added Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his congratulatory message to the President of the Republic.
