Shaheed El Hafed, 10 February 2026 (SPS) – The Union of Youth of Saguia El Hamra and Rio de Oro (UJTSARIO) on Monday signed a cooperation and twinning agreement with the Algerian Youth Organization, within the framework of joint cooperation between the two organizations aimed at advocating for the Sahrawi cause and expanding the scope of solidarity within Algerian youth circles.
The agreement, signed by Mahmoud Azribiea, in charge of UJTSARIO administration, organization, and personnel, and Fares Mohsen, Secretary General of the Algerian Youth Organization, seeks to achieve objectives, including raising awareness of the Sahrawi cause among Algerian youth and defending the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination in accordance with international legitimacy.
The agreement also aims to strengthen relations between the two organizations in support of the Sahrawi cause, through the organization of activities and forums that contribute to introducing the Sahrawi cause and the struggle of the Sahrawi people for freedom and independence.
In addition, the agreement seeks to expand spaces for dialogue and coordination between the two organizations, promote the exchange of expertise, enhance training opportunities, and organize mutual field visits.
