SPLA targets Moroccan army bases in Farsiya sector

Bir Lahlou (Sahrawi Republic), January 18, 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan army bases and fortifications in the Farsiya sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment.

The military communiqué issued today, Sunday, by the Ministry of National Defense stated that advanced units of our fighters carried out, Sunday morning an intensive bombardment targeting Moroccan army bases and trenches in the areas of El-Lafiyeen and Lakhsibyeen in the Farsiya sector.
