Shaheed El-Hafed, 16 December 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, praised the role of youth in the twin battles of liberation and nation-building, stressing the determination of young people to build the future of the Sahrawi cause across various fields.
President Brahim Ghali stressed, during his reception today, Tuesday, of the newly elected leadership of the Union of Saguia el-Hamra and Río de Oro (UJSARIO) that the organization places its trust in youth for their awareness and ability to contribute to the liberation struggle. He commended the role entrusted to them through active participation in society and their capacity to bring about change through effective contribution in different domains.
The President of the Republic emphasized that the current stage requires harmony, unity, and standing firm against all conspiracies plotted against the Sahrawi people, underscoring the role of UJSARIO in contributing to the fight against negative phenomena and in building a conscious youth capable of assuming responsibility through integration into the institutions of the State and the Front.
President Brahim Ghali also highlighted the importance of investing in human capital, noting that engagement in UJSARIO and other mass organizations and training spaces constitutes a “valuable opportunity” that enables young people to become leaders of awareness, shapers of public opinion, contributors to the structuring of society, and to the rejection of harmful practices.
