Peoples’ Summit concludes by affirming right of peoples to self-determination

Belém (Brazil), 17 November 2025 (SPS) – The Peoples’ Summit, hosted in Belém, Brazil, concluded its activities by reaffirming the right of peoples to self-determination.

In its final recommendations, the Summit focused on the right of peoples to determine their own destiny and live in dignity, as well as on resisting imperialism and fascism.

The Secretary-General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women, Shaba Sainy,who participated in the summit, held a series of meetings with various media outlets, including local media, during which she presented a clear picture of the struggle of Sahrawi women and the just cause of the Sahrawi people.
