Shaheed El Hafed, November 13, 2025 (SPS) – Member of the General Staff of the Seventh Military Region, Ali Lahbib, stated that the resumption of the armed struggle on November 13, 2020, represented a historic turning point in the liberation struggle of the Sahrawi people.
In a speech delivered on behalf of the commander, cadres, and fighters of the Seventh Military Region during the commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the resumption of armed struggle, Ali Lahbib affirmed that this event constituted a decisive response to the invaders and a landmark moment in the Sahrawi people’s ongoing fight for freedom.
The military official added that the occasion serves to honor and pay tribute to the martyrs who fell in the line of national duty, reaffirming the commitment that the battle will continue until full sovereignty is achieved.
Ali Lahbib emphasized that the continuation of the Sahrawi people’s struggle stems from their unwavering conviction in the legitimacy of their cause and their inalienable right to self-determination and independence.
