Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), October 9, 2025 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted support and supply bases of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Smara and Kelta sectors, causing losses in both personnel and equipment.
According to the military communiqué issued today by the Ministry of National Defense, the operations took place on Thursday, targeting enemy positions and fortifications in the Rous Erbeib El-Kaâa area in the Smara sector. Additionally, artillery positions of the Moroccan occupation army in the Echerk Legrab area, as well as a support and supply base in the Echerk Tourta area in the Guelta sector, were bombarded.
The communiqué emphasized that the military operations carried out by the Sahrawi army are continuing, striking the enemy’s positions and fortifications along the Wall of Shame (Moroccan military defensive wall), inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment among the ranks of the Moroccan occupation forces.
