Shaheed El-Hafed, September 05, 2025 (SPS) - The Polisario Front has expressed its full readiness to operate within the framework of strict adherence to the fundamental principles outlined in the United Nations Charter.
In a statement concluding the meeting of the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Polisarion Front, President of the Republic Mr. Brahim Ghali, and during the briefing on the meeting held in London between the Sahrawi party and Mr. Hamish Falcons, the UK Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, the Sahrawi party reiterated its commitment to work within the framework of full respect for the fundamental principles of the UN Charter.
The Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat expressed its appreciation for this initiative by the United Kingdom, affirming its readiness to work within the framework of strict adherence to the fundamental principles set out in the UN Charter and other international instruments, as well as the basic norms of international law, including the promotion and respect of human and peoples' rights, and thus achieving a just, peaceful, and mutually acceptable political solution that guarantees the right of the people of Western Sahara to self-determination, in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly and Security Council, as the only path that can lead to lasting peace in the region.
