
Shaheed Al-Hafed, August 30, 2025 (SPS) - The Minister of Education and Vocational Training, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Mr. Abdulkader Taleb Omar, urged students who passed the baccalaureate exam to pursue scientific disciplines that respond to the needs of the current era.
In his speech during the ceremony honoring the top achievers in the baccalaureate today, Mr. Taleb Omar encouraged the successful students to focus on scientific fields, which he described as the key to progress and prosperity for nations. He expressed his gratitude to the Sahrawi educational system, which has established a solid foundation for students to successfully navigate various stages of their education.
The Minister emphasized that the goal today is to work on increasing the overall success rate and averages. He also thanked Algeria, its people, and leadership, for hosting Sahrawi students and allowing them to continue their studies across different educational levels, noting that its doors remain open for them to pursue academic achievement and earn university degrees.
Additionally, he expressed gratitude to the supportive nation of Cuba, whose teachers share the challenges of exile by educating our children at the Simón Bolívar school, and welcoming our students at its universities for decades. He also thanked Venezuela and all the friends and partners who have contributed to building our educational system or hosted our students in their countries.
