
Abuja (Nigeria), August 26, 2025 (SPS) - A delegation from the Ministry of National Defense is participating in the African Chiefs of Defense Summit, hosted by the Nigerian capital, Abuja, from August 25 to 27, 2025, at the invitation of the Chief of the Nigerian Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa.
The summit, held under the theme "Combating Contemporary Threats to Peace and Regional Security in Africa: The Role of Strategic Partnership in Defense," was inaugurated by the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The delegation is headed by a member of the General Staff of the People's National Army and Central Director of Inspection, Mohamed Fadel Breika, accompanied by advisors from the Ministry of National Defense, Yahdih El-Qaid Saleh and Sidi Brahim Moulay Zein..
The Sahrawi delegation's participation has enabled it to hold fruitful meetings with some African military delegations to exchange expertise.
