Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), 20 July 2025 (SPS) – Advanced units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted positions and trenches of Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment, according to a military statement issued today, Sunday, by the Central Directorate of Political Affairs of the Sahrawi Army.
The statement highlighted that advanced SPLA units carried out intense and concentrated strikes at dawn today, targeting a command post belonging to a brigade of the Moroccan occupation army behind enemy defensive walls in the occupied town of Mahbes.
The statement added that the SPLA also struck a command headquarters of a regiment in the Rus Umm Lagta area within the same sector.
The attacks by the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army continue, causing severe losses in lives and equipment among Moroccan occupation forces, the statement further noted.
