SPLA units target Moroccan occupation bases in Guelta sector

Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), July 19, 2025 (WAS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted the Moroccan occupation bases and entrenchments in the Guelta sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment, indicated a military statement issued by the SPLA Central Directorate of Political Commissariat.

The statement noted that, as part of the ongoing war of attrition, advanced units of the SPLA carried out concentrated shelling on Friday, striking enemy positions and trenches in the Therthiyat area of the Guelta sector.

The SPLA continues to bombard strongholds and entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces along its defensive walls.
