SPLA targets Moroccan occupation bases in Farsia sector

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), 22 October 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan occupation bases in the Farsia sector, inflicting significant losses on the Moroccan occupation forces, according to a military communiqué issued by the Ministry of National Defence.

The communiqué stated that advanced units of the Sahrawi army carried out concentrated artillery bombardment on Thursday morning, targeting positions of the Moroccan occupation army in the area of Akrara Achadida, in the Farsia sector.
