Boujdour Province, September 2, 2026 (SPS) – Member of the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, said Wednesday that students have always been at the forefront of efforts to liberate their peoples from colonialism and ignorance.
Speaking during a ceremony held in Boujdour Province to honor students who successfully passed the 2026 baccalaureate examinations, Mr. Taleb Omar stressed the important role played by students in the liberation of peoples.
In this context, he affirmed that, for the Sahrawi people to catch up with developed countries, significant efforts are required from its students and intellectual elites, similar to those made by students in the past during the outbreak of the liberation revolution.
He stressed that education and knowledge are the means to achieve the desired goals, calling on society to pursue continuous learning—not only among young people, but across the entire population and among people of all ages.
