Shaheed El Hafed, February 5, 2026 (SPS) – The President of Algeria’s Future Front Party, Mr. Fateh Boutabiq, renewed his party’s firm support for the Sahrawi people and their just cause.
In his speech during the proceedings of the Arab International Conference in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, Fateh Boutabiq pointed out that standing with the just Sahrawi cause admits no compromise or misinterpretation, as it is a position stemming from conscience before politics, and from history before short-term calculations.
The President of the Future Front Party added that the Sahrawi cause is not the cause of one people alone, but the cause of all Arab peoples, based on shared identity, present realities, and a common destiny, praising the steadfastness and struggle of the Sahrawi people.
Fateh Boutabiq expressed his condemnation of the double standards practiced by some influential powers within the international system, through attempts to circumvent the principle of self-determination, which is a right and a fundamental principle enshrined in international legitimacy.
He stressed that there can be no solution to the Sahrawi issue without respecting the will of the Sahrawi people and their right to freedom and self-determination, free from any dictates.
Fateh Boutabiq addressed a message to the international community, affirming that justice is not measured by balances of interest, that international legitimacy must not be applied selectively, and that a self-determination referendum is a legitimate demand and an inherent right that does not lapse with time.
