UGTSARIO Secretary-General meets with his Algerian counterpart

Algiers, January 15, 2026 (SPS) – The Secretary-General of the Sahrawi Workers’ Union (UGTSARIO), Mr. Nafei Ahmed Mohamed, was received by his Algerian counterpart, Mr. Amar Taghout, in a meeting that discussed the continuation of joint cooperation efforts and the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two organizations.

The meeting confirmed the convergence of positions and the unification of joint working efforts, reflecting Algerian-Sahrawi solidarity at all levels, particularly within the labor sector.

The two organizations are linked by strong historical relations, embodied in bilateral ties through numerous programs and joint activities between the two trade unions.
