Algiers, November 14, 2025 (SPS) – The President of Algeria’s National Construction Movement, Mr. Abdelkader Ben Qarina, reaffirmed Algeria’s steadfast position in support of the Sahrawi people in their struggle for self-determination and independence.
This statement was made during the opening of the 10th Annual Conference of the National Construction Movement held in Algiers under the slogan: “November Algeria… Between the Stakes of Strategic Dialogue and the Balances of the International and Regional Scene.” Ben Qarina emphasized that Algeria will remain faithful to the principles of struggle in defending the causes of liberation movements and will continue its full support for the Sahrawi cause, considered the last decolonization issue in Africa.
For his part, Khatri Adouh, member of the National Secretariat, ambassador to Algeria, praised the positions of the Algerian people and government in support of the Sahrawi people’s rights, highlighting the achievements and gains made by the Sahrawi people over more than fifty years of resistance and struggle.
He stressed that the Sahrawi people will continue their liberation struggle until they secure their legitimate rights to freedom and independence, and that today they are stronger, more united, and determined to realize their aspirations in establishing their independent Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
