Shaheed El-Hafed, June 16, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, chaired today, Monday, a preparatory meeting for the Algerian solidarity event with the Sahrawi people, which will be take place in the Algerian province of Mostaganem.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Republic emphasized that the event is a cultural and political demonstration, organized at the invitation of Algerian civil society, coinciding with the commemoration of the 63rd anniversary of Algeria's Independence Day on July 5.
The President of the Republic stressed that the Sahrawi cause must remain present in various forums and media outlets, urging participants in the solidarity event and the event marking Algeria as the Capital of Hassaniya Culture to utilize these platforms to serve the national cause and raise awareness about the situation of the Sahrawi people and their just struggle for independence.
It is expected that around 400 people representing various sectors of the national organization will participate in the solidarity event.
