Algiers, June 15, 2025 (SPS) – Mr. Khatri Adouh, member of the National Secretariat, Ambassador to Algeria, received Mr. Belkacem Sahli, President of Algeria’s Republican National Alliance Party, at the Sahrawi Embassy.
The meeting, held as part of the ambassador’s engagements with Algerian civil society representatives, aimed to brief them on the latest developments in the Sahrawi cause and explore prospects for joint cooperation and solidarity programs offered by Algerian civil society to the Sahrawi people and their just struggle.
The discussion covered various topics related to support and solidarity initiatives, as well as the Republican National Alliance Party’s renewed commitment to backing the Sahrawi people’s struggle for their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.
The ambassador expressed gratitude to the party leader and, through him, to Algerian civil society and the Algerian people and government for their steadfast support in defending the Sahrawi people’s rights and liberation causes.
He also highlighted the Moroccan occupation regime’s persistent intransigence toward international legitimacy and its ongoing human rights violations in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.
The meeting was attended by officials from the Republican National Alliance Party.
