June 9th School, June 15, 2025 (SPS) – The National Council voted today, Sunday, on a proposal to amend its internal regulations, submitted by the Council’s Bureau.
The vote took place during an open session chaired by Mr. Hamma Salama, member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, as part of the Spring Session proceedings.
The proposed amendments to the internal regulations were approved by a majority of votes through a show of hands.
The Spring Session also saw the submission of draft amendments to several laws concerning individuals, public employment, customs, private pharmacies and laboratories, in addition to the proposal to amend the National Council’s internal regulations submitted by the Council’s Bureau.
These laws strengthen the institutional framework of the Sahrawi state, aligning with the aspirations of its citizens through the work of the National Council, which has ratified a significant number of laws across various fields of national action during previous terms and Spring Sessions.
