Shaheed Hafed, 15 September 2026 (SPS) – The Minister of Interior Mr. Ibrahim Baila stated on Tuesday, in an interview with Sahrawi National Television, that Morocco deliberately seeks to flood the region with drugs in order to undermine its security and stability in service of its malicious agendas.
In this context, the minister spoke about the Sahrawi state’s efforts to combat drugs and organized crime.
He also addressed the negative effects of information technology use, linking drugs and organized crime to the threats that addicts and profiteers seeking quick gains may pose to civil peace.
The minister clarified that the Moroccan occupation exploits every opportunity to escalate its hostile actions and misleading propaganda, with the aim of disrupting national milestones and undermining the credibility of the Sahrawi state and its ability to maintain security and stability in its regional surroundings.
