Ministry of Public Health and Cuban Medical Mission hold celebration marking Cuba's Revolution Day

Shaheed El Hafed, 27July 2026 (SPS) – The Ministry of Public Health and the Cuban Medical Mission serving at the National Health Complex organized a ceremony on Sunday evening to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of Cuba's Revolution Day, observed annually on 26 July.

The event took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Health and was attended by Member of the National Secretariat, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar; the Secretary-General of the Government, Mr. Salama El Bashir; and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Public Health, Mr. Salek Mohamed Omar.

The celebration was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Public Health, staff members of the National Health Complex, and members of the Cuban Medical Mission working with the Ministry.

In his remarks, the Member of the National Secretariat, Minister of Education Vocational Training praised the Cuban Revolution's longstanding support for just causes and its unwavering solidarity with the Sahrawi people throughout their struggle. He emphasized that the Cuban Revolution will continue to stand as a symbol of steadfastness, defiance, and resistance for peoples around the world.
