Nairobi (SPS) – The Embassy of the Sahrawi Republic to the Republic of Kenya has received a letter of appreciation from the Director General of the Kenya School of Government (KSG), Professor Noor Mohamed, in recognition of the participation of the Sahrawi Ambassador to Kenya, Mr. Mohamed Limam Mohamed Ali Sidi El Bashir, in the institution's centenary celebrations, which were held at the school's Lower Kabete campus from 6 to 8 July.
In his letter, the Director General commended the participation of the Sahrawi Ambassador in this historic event, organized under the theme "A Century of Excellence in Public Service Development." He noted that the presence of the Sahrawi diplomatic mission contributed to the success of the celebrations and reflected the strong relations of cooperation and solidarity with African institutions dedicated to training and governance.
The letter stated that the participation of the Sahrawi Republic provided an opportunity to strengthen dialogue and exchange expertise among public administration institutions and management development institutes, thereby reinforcing the shared commitment to advancing leadership and governance, building public sector capacity, and promoting regional cooperation to deliver more efficient and responsive public services.
The Director General also praised the prospects for cooperation opened by this participation, particularly in the fields of training, scientific research, and knowledge exchange. He expressed the Kenya School of Government's aspiration, after a century of service, to further strengthen existing partnerships and explore new avenues of cooperation in support of good governance and sustainable development across the African continent.
