Shaheed El Hafed, February 16, 2026 (SPS) – The Member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, Mr. Hamma Salama, together with the President of the Bremen Parliament, Ms. Antje Grotheer, oversaw today, Monday, the inauguration of a multi-purpose hall at the headquarters of the National Council.
The hall was named after a friend of the Sahrawi cause, the former President of the Bremen Parliament, Mr. Christian Weber.
During the inauguration ceremony, the German delegation toured a photo exhibition reflecting the experience of the Sahrawi National Council and its parliamentary journey over 50 years since its establishment.
The head of the German parliamentary delegation expressed her admiration for the Sahrawi parliamentary experience and her appreciation to the National Council for naming the hall after the former President of the Bremen Parliament, Mr. Christian Weber.
