Constitutional Council takes part in International Forum on Individuals’ Right to Access Constitutional Justice

Algiers, 20 November 2025 (SPS) – The Sahrawi Constitutional Council took part in an international forum on “The Right of Individuals to Access Constitutional Justice as a Mechanism for Protecting Rights and Freedoms.”

The forum, organized by the Algerian Constitutional Court, addressed various theoretical and practical dimensions of individuals’ right to access constitutional justice, considering it a fundamental guarantee for the protection of rights and freedoms and for strengthening the rule of law.

The event saw the participation of high-level delegations from several countries, including the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Palestine, Turkey, Portugal, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, and Algeria, in addition to the Lawyers’ Organization of the Tiaret region.

The Sahrawi Constitutional Council was represented by Mr. Mohamed Bouzeid, President of the Constitutional Council; Mr. Mohamed Saleh Bashir, member of the Constitutional Council; and Mr. Brahim Mohamed Limam, Chief of Staff to the President of the Constitutional Council in charge of African affairs.
