Wilaya of Boujdour, October 26, 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Ghali, supervised today, Sunday, the inauguration of the traditional encampment organized on the sidelines of the 19th edition of the cultural event Artifariti.
The encampment showcases various artistic and cultural aspects of Sahrawi heritage, including traditional foods, games, and tools.
The President, who was accompanied by the Prime Minister, member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Buchraya Hamoudi Beyoun, along with members of the National Secretariat and the government, received explanations about the content of the tents that display elements of the Sahrawi people's distinctive heritage.
As he visited all the tents of the encampment, the President emphasized the importance of unity, national identity, and preserving historical memory while standing firm against all attempts to erase the national identity.
He also praised the efforts of Sahrawi women in safeguarding the national identity, preserving the uniqueness of Sahrawi heritage, and playing a prominent role in protecting Sahrawi traditions despite all attempts at cultural assimilation.
