Shaheed El-Hafed, 08 October 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, has received a reply letter from his Ghanaian counterpart, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, in response to the message of condolence sent following the death of Ghana’s Ministers of Defense, and Environment, Science and Technology, along with six others in a helicopter crash.
President Mahama expressed his appreciation for President Brahim Ghali’s message, affirming that it reflects the values of love and mutual solidarity between the two peoples and countries.
President John Dramani Mahama stated, "The words of sympathy and solidarity you expressed during this difficult time have brought comfort to our people and reaffirmed the bonds of friendship that unite our two nations. In these moments of mourning, we recall our shared commitment to peace, stability, and the enduring partnership between our countries and peoples."
