Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), 7 October 2026 (SPS) – President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent a message of condolences to his Algerian counterpart, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, expressing his condolences on the passing of Mr. Boualem Boualem, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Algeria.
The President of the Republic extended his condolences to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and, through him, to the Algerian people and the family of the deceased.
The Algerian Presidency announced on Monday the death of Mr. Boualem Boualem, Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, who passed away at a hospital in Geneva, Switzerland, where he had been receiving treatment after suffering from a serious illness.
