Governor of Boumerdès praises struggle and resilience of Sahrawi people

Boumerdès, August 3, 2025 (SPS) – The Governor of Boumerdès, Ms. Fawzia Naama, reaffirmed Algeria’s steadfast position in supporting the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination and independence, in accordance with United Nations charters and Security Council resolutions.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 13th Summer University for Sahrawi Executives, named after the martyr Dah Bendir, Governor Naama expressed her warm welcome to the executives of the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi State.

She stated that thanks to its legitimate struggle and aspirations, the Sahrawi people will achieve freedom and independence.
