Wilaya of Auserd, May 31, 2025 (SPS) – The intellectual symposium on Martyr President Mohamed Abdelaziz and the Independence Uprising commenced Saturday in the willaya of Auserd, in the presence of the President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, along with members of the National Secretariat, the government, and officials from various national institutions.
The symposium, organized by officials from national institutions, will highlight significant aspects of the life of the late President Mohamed Abdelaziz and his contributions across military, political, diplomatic, and media domains, as well as the role of the Independence Uprising in confronting the Moroccan repression machine.
During the event, testimonies will be heard from those who lived alongside the Martyr President and witnessed the blessed Independence Uprising, particularly activists from the occupied territories, such as Aminatou Haidar, Sidi Mohamed Dadach, Ali Salem Tamek, Mohamed Moutawakil, Hamadi Nasseri, Bashir Ben Taleb, and Salha Boutenguiza.
