SPLA carries out new attacks on positions of Moroccan occupying forces in Mahbes and Farsia sectors

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 28 April 2024 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) have launched new attacks on positions of the Moroccan occupying forces in the Mahbes and Farsia sectors, causing "heavy human and material losses" to the occupying army, according to a statement by the Sahrawi army on Sunday.

"Advanced detachments of the Sahrawi army targeted, through intense bombardments, a support base of the occupying army in the Lakâad region within the Mahbes sector, inflicting heavy losses on them," stated the military communiqué.

The SPLA also targeted a military base of the Moroccan occupier in the El Fiayin region within the Farsia sector, "causing them considerable losses," the statement adds.
