Shaheed Al-Hafed, May 17, 2025 (SPS) – At the conclusion of their field activities and visits to the Sahrawi refugee camps, a delegation of the Austrian Sport for Inclusion Network (SPIN) and the Italian Sport for All Association (UISP) held an evaluation meeting with Khatri Adouh, National Secretariat member, Minister of Education and Vocational Training.
The meeting reviewed the outcomes of their visit and the activities carried out over the past few days.
During the meeting, the Minister of Education and Vocational Training expressed the ministry’s deep gratitude for the Austrian network’s initiative. He praised the delegation’s efforts in supporting the education sector through training workshops for sports facilitators and school activity coordinators.
The minister highlighted the importance of such international partnerships in developing educational capacities and improving the learning environment, reaffirming the ministry’s openness and readiness to expand future cooperation.
For their part, the delegation members expressed their great satisfaction with their field experience, noting that the positive engagement they witnessed—particularly from training participants—reflects the local community’s readiness for joint development efforts. They also commended the ministry’s work and its commitment to ensuring the success of the initiative.
In closing, both sides emphasized the importance of building on this step to develop sustainable programs in school activities, educational sports, and social inclusion, benefiting students and youth in the Sahrawi refugee camps.
