Las Palmas (Canary Islands), May 16, 2025 (SPS) – A cooperation agreement was signed Thursday at the deanery of the University of Las Palmas between the University of Tifariti, represented by its Dean and Director of Higher Education, Mr. Moulay Mohamed Ibrahim, and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, represented by its Dean, Professor Lluís Serra.
The agreement includes provisions for exchanging experiences in university management, facilitating faculty and student exchanges between the two academic institutions, as well as cooperation in scientific research, studies, and the organization of academic seminars and conferences.
During the visit, the delegation of the university of Tifariti held technical meetings with the Head of International Relations, the Director of Cooperation, and the Director of Virtual Education and Training at the University of Las Palmas to translate the contents of the cooperation agreement into practical programs and activities.
It is worth noting that, alongside the Dean of the University of Tifariti, the signing ceremony and accompanying activities were attended by Ali Salem Sid El-Zein, representative of the Polisario Front in the Canary Islands, Mohamed Saeed, in charge of External Relations at the University of Tifariti, Nabila Embarek, Professor of Spanish.
