Boumerdes (Algeria), August 11, 2026 (SPS) – Governor of Algeria’s Boumerdes Province, Ms. Fawzia Naama, praised the justness of the Sahrawi cause, reaffirming Boumerdes Province’s support for the Sahrawi people, their just cause, and their right to self-determination.
In a speech delivered during the opening of the 14th edition of the Summer University for cadres of the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi State, held at M’Hamed Bougara University in Boumerdes Province, Fawzia Naama praised the Sahrawi people’s continued struggle and their legitimate right to freedom and independence.
The Governor of Boumerdes welcomed President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, who presided over the opening of the 14th edition of the Summer University. She noted that the Summer University has become a tradition of solidarity with the Sahrawi people and a sacred symbol of solidarity.
Fawzia Naama concluded her speech by stating that the justness of the Sahrawi cause is what has led everyone to stand in support of the Sahrawi people’s right, stressing that the Sahrawi cause is clear and that the international resolutions supporting the Sahrawi people’s right are equally clear.
