Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), June 27, 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted surveillance and early warning positions of the Moroccan occupation army in the Um Dreiga sector, inflicting significant losses on occupation forces.
According to a military communiqué issued by the Ministry of National Defence, and as part of the ongoing war of attrition operations, advanced units of the Sahrawi fighters carried out a concentrated and precise bombardment on Friday, targeting a radar installation used for surveillance and early warning in the area of Taref Abda, within the Um Dreiga sector.
The communiqué added that, on Thursday, Sahrawi combat units also conducted a well-coordinated shelling operation against the headquarters of a corps command belonging to the Moroccan occupation army in the Um Dreiga sector, achieving direct hits on the target.
