Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), June 26, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent a message of condolence to the Acting President of Venezuela, Ms. Delcy Rodríguez, expressing his sympathy over the victims of the earthquake that struck several regions of her country.
President Brahim Ghali conveyed his sincere condolences and deepest sympathy for the victims of the two earthquakes that hit the capital, Caracas, causing deaths and injuries and resulting in material damage to public facilities and residential buildings.
The President reaffirmed the solidarity of the Sahrawi Republic, both government and people, with the friendly nation of Venezuela during this difficult time. He also expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the injured, as well as to the Venezuelan people.
President Ghali voiced his confidence in the strength, unity, and resilience of the Venezuelan people to overcome this difficult ordeal and rebuild the affected areas.
He further reaffirmed the deep bonds of friendship and solidarity between the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, stressing that the Sahrawi Republic stands alongside the Venezuelan people during this challenging period.
