Shaheed El Hafed, 21 June 2026 (SPS) – Member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, Bachir Mustapha Sayed, affirmed on Sunday that the lectures hosted by the National Council as part of its Spring Session represented significant added value and a commendable effort by the lecturers.
This came in remarks delivered by the President of the National Council at the opening of a lecture on the judicial experience of the Sahrawi State, presented by the Minister of Justice, Mohamed Embarek Sidi, in the presence of members of the National Council. He highlighted the importance of such topics in strengthening legal awareness and advancing institutional practice.
Mr. Bachir Mustapha Sayed pointed out that the Polisario Front adopted, since the late 1980s, a strategy based on consolidating the rule of law and establishing it as the framework for regulating public affairs. He stressed that institution-building and the effective management of society require a clear and efficient judicial system.
The lecture forms part of the National Council’s Spring Session training program, which includes a series of lectures aimed at expanding knowledge and enhancing the capacities of Council members, enabling them to carry out their oversight responsibilities more effectively.
