Conclusion of 10th NUSW Congress

Smara Wilaya, April 22, 2026 (SPS) – The activities of the 10th Congress of the National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW) concluded Wednesday evening after three days of proceedings in the wilaya of Smara, Sahrawi refugee camps.

The closing ceremony featured a speech by the re-elected Secretary-General, Ms. Shaba Seini, in which she praised the efforts made to organize this important event and thanked all those who contributed to its success.

The closing session also included solidarity speeches from several international delegations from Spain, South Africa, and Italy, who expressed their admiration for the resilience of Sahrawi women and their determination to continue their struggle and resistance for freedom and independence.
