Shaheed El Hafed, April 5, 2026 (SPS) – The member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, Bashir Mustafa Sayed, held a communication meeting at the headquarters of the National Council with officials from various national institutions.
This meeting comes as part of a series of engagements he previously organized with different bodies and structures of the National Council.
This initiative is part of a series of consultative and open meetings focused on the role of the Sahrawi parliamentary institution, coinciding with the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
Bashir Mustafa Sayed emphasized that the meeting falls within a new dynamic aimed at raising awareness about the roles entrusted to the Sahrawi legislative institution and the responsibilities of national elites toward it. He also reviewed the latest developments in the national cause and the international challenges ahead, in light of upcoming milestones, as well as the stakes facing the cause both locally and internationally.
The member of the National Secretariat called for the development of shared visions and stressed the importance of collective contribution to supporting and developing national institutions, in a way that reinforces community participation and advances national work toward greater efficiency and openness.
Participants took part in discussions, exchanging ideas and presenting contributions aimed at improving the work of the National Council.
