Tuscany (Italy), March 3, 2026 (SPS) – The Sandro Pertini Municipal Council Hall in the city of Campi Bisenzio hosted a solidarity meeting on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic.
The meeting was attended by the Mayor and the Vice President of the Tuscany Region, where local institutions reaffirmed their support for the Sahrawi cause and its humanitarian projects.
In a video conference intervention, the Polisario Front’s representative in Italy delivered a presentation on the political and humanitarian situation of the Sahrawi people, expressing gratitude to the Italian solidarity movement for its continued commitment.
The meeting concluded with the municipality and the region reaffirming their determination to strengthen reception programs and health and food assistance initiatives on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic.
